Directed by Ryan White, who made 'The Keepers' and 'Ask Dr. Ruth'

Pamela Anderson famously refused to be involved in the production of Hulu's Pam & Tommy series, and now Anderson has revealed that she'll be making her own documentary about her life story.

The as-yet-unnamed Netflix project will be directed Ryan White, who is responsible for the documentary series The Keepers and the documentary film Ask Dr. Ruth

According to a social post from the streamer, the documentary has "been in the making for several years" and "will feature the pop culture icon setting the record straight as she looks back on her professional path and her personal journey."

Alongside the statement, Netflix also shared a poem by Anderson ostensibly about the documentary, which reads:  "My life / A thousand imperfections / A million misperceptions / Wicked, wild and lost / Nothing to live up to / I can only surprise you / Not a victim, but a survivor / And alive to tell the real story."
