Published Oct 20, 2017Following his work on The Vatican Tapes and The Place Beyond the Pines, Mike Patton has now revealed his latest scoring project to be the Netflix adaptation of Stephen King's 1922.
The film arrives on the service today (October 20) and was directed by Zak Hilditch. A press release reveals that Patton's score will receive an expanded release in 2018 through Ipecac Recordings.
1922 follows narrator Wilfred James, who admits to killing his wife alongside his son in Nebraska. As his life begins to unravel after burying her body, James becomes convinced that his wife is haunting him.
Patton recently had a rough go on the road with hardcore supergroup Dead Cross, getting stitches after a skateboarding accident.
