Legendary actress Mary Tyler Moore, best known for her groundbreaking sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show, has passed away at the age of 80.
While her cause of death is unclear, TMZ reports that Moore had been on a respirator for over a week. Her family visited the hospital to say goodbye before she passed away today (January 25).
Moore first broke through with her role on The Dick Van Dyke Show before fronting seven seasons on The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Throughout her career, Moore won seven Emmys. She was also nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Ordinary People.
