Leonardo DiCaprio has drawn the ire of Amazon billionaire/Dr. Evil cosplayer Jeff Bezos, after a video of the actor interacting with Bezos's girlfriend went viral this week.
The video in question sees Bezos's love interest Lauren Sánchez looking at a flirty DiCaprio with awe while Bezos stands awkwardly at her side. The short clip recorded at November 6's LACMA Art+Film Gala went viral over the weekend, with Twitter users dubbing DiCaprio the ultimate "Mr. Steal Yo Girl" for managing to capture Sánchez's attention all while her arm is linked to one of the world's richest men.
Subsequent to much heckling online, Bezos responded to the video with a photo of himself positioned behind a sign that reads "DANGER! STEEP CLIFF. FATAL DROP."
"Leo, come over here, I want to show you something…" Bezos tweeted, jokingly(?) implying that he wants to throw the actor off the side of the drop.
DiCaprio has yet to respond publicly to the show of force, though for his part, he has been romantically linked to 24-year-old model and actor Camila Morrone since 2017, so he might not be taking the attempt at intimidation to heart.
