Homer Crosses Paths with 'South Park,' California Raisins and 'Robot Chicken' in New 'Simpsons' Couch Gag

While the quality of the actual show has been debated for many years, The Simpsons' couch gags have been more ambitious than ever. For this weekend's episode, Fox enlisted the help of Robot Chicken's Stoopid Monkey Stoodios.

The resulting gag is an excellent hybrid of 2D Simpsons and claymation style. When the family's sailboat painting goes missing, Homer heads off on a brief adventure that sees him battle the South Park kids and some California Raisins before eventually meeting The Nerd from Robot Chicken.

It's an ambitious couch gag, to be sure, but it feels like the fun is just getting started when it abruptly ends.

Watch the new couch gag below. It'll air in front of a new Simpsons episode on February 19.
