Canadian entertainment network Hollywood Suite has announced next month's featured programming on its four channels and on-demand service with new series and movies that defined the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s — always uncut and free of commercial interruption.
This May, the network is featuring an extensive collection of true-crime titles, including The Pembrokeshire Murders, a British three-part drama starring Luke Evans. The Fast and the Furious actor plays Detective Superintendent Steve Wilkins, who employs pioneering forensic techniques to hunt down a potential serial killer. The special will premiere on May 20 at 9 p.m. ET and will be available on-demand beginning May 21.
Also joining May's programming on Hollywood Suite is the Sports on Film collection, featuring dozens of movies, including Sylvester Stallone's six original Rocky films. The collection will also feature Martin Scorsese's 1980 classic, Raging Bull starring Robert De Niro.
In addition to The Pembrokeshire Murders, Rocky and Raging Bull, Hollywood Suite will also host The Karate Kid, Million Dollar Baby, Bonnie and Clyde, Zodiac, Goodfellas among over 700 films airing in May. Series available in May include Prime Suspect, starring Helen Mirren, and the David Tennet and Michael Sheen comedy Staged.
