In case you forgot, winter is indeed coming. So mark your calendars, as Game of Thrones has just revealed the premiere date for the anticipated Season 7.

Today (March 9), HBO revealed that the hit high-fantasy series will return to the network on July 16 at its usual airtime of 9 p.m. ET.

The reveal was initially made during an interactive "game" via Facebook live where a massive block of ice had the premiere date hidden inside. By users typing the word "FIRE," as well as other hashtags, into the comments, it apparently turned up the heat on that towering ice block, eventually melting it all to see that date of July 16.

To get you extra stoked, HBO has also shared a new GoT teaser video, which you can watch below. It's only a minute and a half long, but it definitely packs a punch.

Watch it below.

While few details have been revealed about Season 7 so far, several cast members have been seen filming in Western Canada, so expect to see glimpses of the Great White North come showtime.
