Bill Cosby Admitted to Drugging Woman for Sex, Court Documents Reveal

Last month, we learned that embattled comedian Bill Cosby was attempting to block the release of potentially "embarrassing" court documents following a probe from the Associated Press. Today (July 6), those documents were released, and they reveal that Cosby purchased drugs with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with.

As the AP reports, Cosby admitted in a 2005 deposition that he bought Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women that he desired sexually. Cosby also admitted to drugging at least one woman.

Cosby was testifying under oath in a lawsuit filed against him by a Temple University employee. He admitted that he gave the woman three half pills of Benadryl.

In 2006, Cosby settled this specific sexual abuse lawsuit for an undisclosed amount. He has since been accused of similar behaviour by over 40 women.

Bill Cosby's lawyers did not respond to phone calls the Associated Press.

UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter adds more details to the story. In the recently revealed deposition (viewable here), Cosby also admitted that he used Tom Illus of the William Morris Agency to send money to a female accuser. The documents also reveal that Cosby sent his accuser to meet with a representative from the agency. Further, the document reveals that several people have testified that Cosby used a Denver modelling agency to "supply him with young women."
