After getting an early Season 2 renewal, Awkwafina's Comedy Central series Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens is finally set to return this summer, and ahead of its release, we now have a trailer to get excited about.
The 10-episode second season will mark the TV directorial debut of star BD Wong, who plays Awkwafina's dad in the series. Andrew McCarthy, Bill Benz, Laura Murphy, Jordan Kim and Steven Tsuchida will also direct the forthcoming batch of episodes.
As previously reported, the adorable Alan Kim (Minari) will be joining the cast of Awkwafina for its second season as the kid version of Nora's dad, Wally. Kim will star alongside Lori Tan Chinn, Bowen Yang, Wong and Awkwafina, of course.
Season 2 will premiere with a two-episode event on August 18 at 10 p.m. ET.
