After filing to end her conservatorship in February, Amanda Bynes has returned to Instagram to thank fans for their support — and document the process of removing her face tattoo.

"What's up, Instagram? Amanda Bynes here," the actor said in a 12-second clip posted to a new account, @amanda.bynes1986. "My court date is coming up in two weeks," she said of the March 22 hearing. "I want to thank you all so much for your love and support."

"Peace out," Bynes added, throwing up a peace sign.

Three other posts have since been added to the account: two featuring her fiancé Paul Michael and a brief clip showing the fading heart-shaped inked on Bynes' face, captioned: "tattoo removal process...."

The actor has spent almost nine years under the conservatorial control of her mother Lynn Organ, who has been supportive of her daughter's petition to end the arrangement [via Variety]. Organ was granted a temporary conservatorship in 2013 when Bynes was hospitalized on an involuntary psychiatric hold after allegedly setting a driveway on fire, gaining full conservatorship the following year.

As per the state of California's requirements, the conservatorship termination filing provided an update on the actor's mental state from a medical practitioner, Bynes' psychiatrist stating that she "has no apparent impairment in alertness and attention, information and processing, or ability to modulate mood and affect, and suffers no thought disorders."
