Singer-songwriter Trevor Powers announced the return of his Youth Lagoon project by releasing a free 7-inch single in select record shops today (July 10). Now, in addition to the limited-edition copies of "The Knower," he's revealed plans for an upcoming full-length album.
The details emerged thanks to a URL printed on the singles, directing fans to savagehillsballroom.com. The site confirms that a 10-song Youth Lagoon album titled Savage Hills Ballroom is on the way.
While a tracklisting and official release date have yet to be revealed, details are expected soon. With all of the limited-edition singles already given away, though, it can't be long until some extra information and new music make their way online.
The new album will mark Powers' third as Youth Lagoon and follows up 2013's Wondrous Bughouse. For now, listen to "Mute" from that record in the player below.
