No Warning frontman and Fucked Up guitarist Ben Cook is finally set to treat his Young Guv moniker to a proper full-length, preparing the arrival of his Ripe 4 Luv LP later this year. Today, he's shared another taste of the release with the video for "Crushing Sensation."
The song's a jangle power-pop anthem built on trebly guitars, a canned drum beat and Cook's falsetto croon.
Its accompanying video is mostly aimless, focusing on aesthetics rather than narrative as we watch Cook flex for the mirror, eat cereal, watch a footie match and workout in the snow. Still, its an effective clip that makes us feeling we're seeing a day in the life of Young Guv.
