We're nearing the due date of Umberto's impending Confrontations LP, which Not Not Fun delivers February 5. The electronic artist is offering up a moonlit synthscape a little early, though, and it's called "Night Fantasy."
A press release for the Confrontations previously hinted that the record basks "in the tension of each new chiming, Carpenter-esque synth lines," but this track is fairly pleasant. The instrumental may feature percussive bass-synth hammering and some temple-cracking snare hits, but the rest of the pillowy synth work softens the blow.

Also, Umberto has shared a new spooked-out music video for "The Locker Room," off last year's Night Has a Thousand Screams. You can check out the horror show at the bottom of the page.
