Just ahead of an appearance at NXNE, grime-influenced Toronto rapper Tre Mission has delivered his debut mixtape, Malmaison.
The 16-song set was self-produced and features the jungle breaks and fast-rapped weekend warrior lines of previously teased single "Runnup." Elsewhere, the 22-year-old serves up stop-start rhythms and wild guitar solos ("Flashlight Woah"), trap beat missives on that lux-life ("High Fashion"), and brick-slinging, distortion-driven bars atop chiptune melodies and house-minded hi-hats ("Windmills").
You can download the freelease over on Tre Mission's website.
Tre Mission plays Toronto's Wrongbar on June 15 alongside Joey Bada$$, Rich Kidd and Deniro Farrar. He'll also open up for Kendrick Lamar and Earl Sweatshirt at Sound Academy on August 2.
