As previously reported, punk-tinged indie rock unit Titus Andronicus are set to return with The Most Lamentable Tragedy this summer. The record is due out on July 28 through Merge, and now they've revealed plans to take the new material on the road.
The band will embark on what's been dubbed the "TMLT Around the World Tour" this fall. Following a string of sold-out shows at Shea Stadium from July 24 to 28, the tour will kick off in Philadelphia on September 11.
Canadian fans will have a chance to catch the band in Vancouver on October 3, Toronto on October 13 and in Montreal on October 14. Spider Bags and Baked will be providing opening support for all of the North American stops.
Shortly thereafter, Titus Andronicus will cross the Atlantic for a European jaunt, which finally wraps up in Dublin on November 22.
