Torontonian Taylor Knox has been tied to a host of artists including the Golden Dogs, Hayden, Rich Aucoin, but he's now releasing music under his own name. With a solo album to arrive in the new year, Knox has now released a video for his song "My Backyard."
The track is a catchy pop-rock number with vocal harmonies and chugging guitar strums that give it a vintage Murderecords vibe. The accompanying Sagan MacIsaac-directed clip begins with the long-haired songwriter lying in the grass while surrounded by lemons and limes. He eventually ends up hanging out on a boat with his band and performing the tune.
Check it out below.
The song is also available over on Knox's website, and he will be playing a show on Thursday (November 7) at Toronto's Dakota Tavern with the Lovely Feathers and Wax Atlantic.
