"Can't Have You" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 18, 2015

Building up more steam ahead of the release of Steven A. Clark's The Lonely Roller is a new video for "Cant Have You," a track that tears at the heart strings with themes of desire, loss and more. You can see how Clark handles it via an online stream.

The modern R&B singer croons and bops his way through shadowy corridors, city streets and in underground parking lots, talking about trying to move on after the end of a relationship, and how sometimes that's easier said than done ("I can't have you, but I can always dream").

More cinematically, the video also puts the focus on a young couple as they employ the buddy system while swimming in rivers, enjoy tender embraces, walk through graveyards, and more.

You'll discover how the story ends by streaming the video down below, where you'll also find info on Clark's fall tour with Sinkane.

Clark's The Lonely Roller LP lands September 18 via Secretly Canadian.
