Royal Headache Get 'High' on New LP, Announce North American Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jun 4, 2015

Sydney group Royal Headache broke through when they released their self-titled debut to worldwide acclaim in 2011. Now, after a lengthy period of rest, they've announced plans to return with a new album.

Called High, a press release says it's "a dash through decades of pop history, recombining not just the music but all of the feelings of pain and joy elicited from audiences, supercharged and ready to explode once more."

For a better understanding of what that means, you can listen to the LP's fuzzed-out, melodic title track below.

High will arrive on August 21 via What's Your Rupture? and the band's own Distant and Vague imprint. In addition, Royal Headache will spend August on a North American tour that includes stops in Toronto and Montreal.
