Rick Ross has been arrested for a second time this month. This latest altercation with the law has brought the rapper in on charges including kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery over allegedly pistol whipping a man at his home in Georgia.

Variety reports that the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Regional Task Force arrested Ross (a.k.a. William Leonard Roberts II) and bodyguard Nadrian James earlier this morning (June 24) in Fayette County, GA. The arrest was due to an incident that allegedly took place June 7 between the rapper and a man that was doing work at one of his homes.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the assault charge is for Ross allegedly pistol whipping the as-yet-unidentified man, and that the kidnapping charge is owing to Ross keeping the man in the home against his will. The U.S. Marshals were apparently contacted by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department a few days earlier to assist in the arrest, with the forces gathering information and tracking Ross' whereabouts before making the arrest.

Ross has yet to comment on the matter.

The Maybach Music Group label boss was arrested on a drug possession charge earlier this month when police officers found five "marijuana cigarettes" in his vehicle, which had been pulled over due to illegally tinted windows.
