Retox have revealed another gut-punching preview from their forthcoming third full-length offering, Beneath California. After having served up a bat-swinging video for "Let's Not Keep in Touch," the band are now streaming the violent, vitriol-fuelled "Disappointing Grade."
Jagged, jackhammered drums and lacerating guitar lines are the backdrop for vocalist Justin Pearson to run wild with a series of snarky snarls about politicians, rescue missions and assorted things rubbing him the wrong way. "You can go fuck an imaginary body part," he screams during the tune's chaotic closing moments.
Retox release Beneath California February 10 through Epitaph/Three.One.G. A North America tour with Whores starts the same day. You'll find the date details here.
