Retox's sophomore LP YPLL hit stores today (May 28), and the San Diego quartet are marking the occasion with a gritty and explosive clip for the LP's "Biological Process of Politics."
Like much of their work, the track pits Justin Pearson's feral and ferocious screams with jagged beats and exploding shards of six-string shrapnel. Even more unsettling, however, is the clip's use of deteriorated footage of the 1981 attempted assassination of then president of the United States Ronald Reagan at the hands of John Hinckley, Jr. Despite the distracting VHS fuzz, it's still a gruesome watch.
