It feels like ages since Purity Ring released their full-length Shrines, and that's kind of true. The album came out way back in 2012. And while we've heard the odd collaboration and remix since, we're finally edging closer to a new album with a new original track.
As could be expected, "Push Pull" pairs Corin Roddick's pulsing, hip-hop-inspired beats and busy synth patches with Megan James' angelic, ethereal vocal delivery. While their sonic palette has slightly evolved, fans of Shrines will find plenty to love here.
Check out "Push Pull" below. Hopefully this means more new music is on the way from the duo.
