Having recently learned that St. Vincent was going to pop up on an upcoming episode of Portlandia, we already knew that sketch comedy show's sophomore season would feature some awesome guest spots. But it turns out the next run will be packed with moonlighting musicians.
On top of Annie Clark, Rolling Stone reports that season two will feature show co-creator Carrie Brownstein's longtime pal Eddie Vedder, Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock, harpist Joanna Newsom and legendary Smiths six-stringer Johnny Marr.
Considering new episodes don't start airing until January 6 on IFC, it's unclear in what capacity any of the performers will appear, but judging by the picture above, it looks like Vedder got a meal out of his guest spot.
If you can't wait a couple of months to see more of Brownstein, she's currently on tour with her band Wild Flag, who will be playing Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on Saturday (November 12).
