Since its name can be interpreted as meaning "many records," it should come as no surprise that the long-running Polyvinyl imprint has announced plans for a new singles series.

The sequel to last year's batch, the label will offer up a new 7-inch to subscribers each month. The releases will be pressed on colour vinyl, and will feature two songs from each artist in the series. The record's will feature artwork from Jesse LeDoux.

Speaking of, the artists participating in this year's singles club are Of Montreal, the Dodos, Ducktails, David Bazan, Crooked Fingers, Deerhoof, Foxygen's Jonathan Rado, Telekinesis, Saint Pepsi, MGMT and Of Montreal's Blikk Fang, Jacco Gardner and Kishi Bashi.

The artists' contributions were recorded with a four-track cassette recorder, so they'll likely sound fairly lo-fi.

There will be a total of 1,000 available subscriptions. Right now, they're available for an early bird price of $110 USD here.
