Paul Weller Takes 'Saturns Pattern' on North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 12, 2015

Veteran UK pop rock figure Paul Weller has announced he will be launching himself over the Atlantic next fall to support his upcoming Saturns Pattern LP with a North American tour.

A street date wasn't delivered when Weller first revealed his album plans last month, but it's since been confirmed that the record arrives May 12 via Warner Bros. and a day earlier in the UK. The former Jam leader's tour won't launch for a few months, though, with the trip starting October 9 in Washington, DC. A Toronto date has been scheduled at the Danforth Music Hall on October 15.

All the North American dates are below. This trip will be followed by a UK tour, which you can see here.

Saturns Pattern is Weller's first solo effort since 2012's Sonik Kicks and features nine new songs. One of those tracks is an overdriven, bluesy stomp called "White Sky." The single has received a video treatment, which finds Weller and his band smoking up a storm, both literally and figuratively, as they track the tune in a recording studio. You'll find the clip beneath the concert info.
