Paul McCartney

"Love My Baby"

What's the sound of One Hand Clapping? Paul McCartney has answered that age-old question with the unreleased ditty "Love My Baby," which was originally recorded for Wings' 1974 TV documentary One Hand Clapping.

The tune seems to have been improvised (or at least written very quickly), since it consists of nothing more than tinkling keys and McCartney's nonsensical, bluesy vocals. The whole thing lasts a little over a minute, but it's charming in its simplicity.

"Love My Baby" can be streamed below, or downloaded for free at McCartney's website.

One Hand Clapping was on a reissue of Band on the Run a few years ago. It centred around studio performances filmed at Abbey Road.
