BY Josiah HughesPublished Aug 6, 2015

Patti Smith recently revealed plans to follow her 2010 book Just Kids with a new set of memoirs called M Train. No longer limited to New York's subway line, however, she's now announced plans for a North American tour in support of the book.

Smith's itinerary will include one Canadian stop as she sets up shop at Toronto's Design Exchange on October 13. If you can't make that show, you'll have to visit the United States for one of the other scheduled appearances. View the whole tour below.

As previously reported, M Train sees Smith offer up "a roadmap to my life" using 18 different "stations." M Train will arrive on October 6 through the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group.

Pitchfork also reports that HarperCollins is releasing an expanded reissue of Patti Smith Collected Lyrics on October 27. The new version of the book will include an additional 35 songs as well as new artwork and an introduction written by Smith.
