Oxford Blue Details 'Another Blue Morning' Mini-Album, Plots Canadian Tour

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 17, 2015

Patrick Lefler charmed listeners with his "familiar, comforting" sound as Oxford Blue on his 2013 self-titled effort, and he's ready to follow it up with a new mini-album titled Another Blue Morning. It's set to arrive on October 9.

The new music was inspired by Canadiana greats like Stompin' Tom and Hank Snow, but also incorporates more modern influences like those of Daniel Romano (who produced the aforementioned Oxford Blue).

According to a press release, songs like "Where Am I Going to Sleep" and "Quiet Conviction" reveal a cheeky "shit happens" attitude in the singer-songwriter and hear him "taking a pragmatic approach to the struggles of being a musician and all that encompasses."

The full six-song tracklisting can be found below, and beyond that you'll find a list of Oxford Blue's upcoming tour dates around Central and Eastern Canada and a teaser video clip for Another Blue Morning.
