Icelandic folk rock outfit Of Monsters and Men enjoyed a breakthrough with their 2011 debut album My Head Is an Animal, and now they're pressing ahead by sharing a new single.
"Crystals" captures the band in typically dramatic form. The arrangement of this cinematically rocking tune is dominated by pounding drums, with are overlaid with slow-burning vocals and spacious washes of electric guitar. The accompanying lyric video consists of a single black and white shot of an elderly gentleman dancing and passionately singing along as the words pop up at the bottom of the screen. It was directed by Tjarnargatan.
This presumably comes from Of Monsters and Men's sophomore album, but no details about the collection have been announced. For now, check out the video below.
