DC hip-hop artist Oddisee had already shared "That's Love" from his forthcoming album The Good Fight, and here's another new cut. It's called "Counter-Clockwise" and it has its own video.
The song sports a syncopated beat and lots of plinky-plunky tones, and Oddisee raps atop some soulful background "ahh"-ing. In the accompanying black and white video, we watch the man himself walking through New York in slow motion, and we gradually realize that the rest of the city is running in reverse.
Oddisee said in a statement, "'Counter-Clockwise' is about being there for people & them working against you as a result. Becoming the bearer of their problems because they know you can handle it."
