This one's a Valentine's Day special: Daniel Pitout, the drummer for feral and frightening Vancouver punks Nü Sensae, has been named one of Out Magazine's 100 most eligible gay bachelors.

Nü Sensae themselves posted about the honour today (February 14) over Facebook with a "WTF!" While Pitout came in at 46 on the list as is, the act noted you can vote for him to place in the top 10 "if you think he is the swaggest fag around!" Pitout himself posted, "Maybe now I can get a date..."

Pitout isn't the only musician to make the list, with other notable performers including Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij, New York art rapper Le1f and Bloc Party's Kele Okereke. The list also includes a number of athletes, actors, writers and more. You can vote for your favourite here.

The site suggests if you want to make a move, you should hit Pitout up on Twitter. If you're that bold, might we suggest you brush up on his history.

On top of playing in Nü Sensae, Pitout has also performed in Eating Out, recorded with former boyfriend Hunx, and is also an actor/dancer in town who recently performed the role of Mike Nulty in a run of White Christmas. There, that should get you started.

Don't forget, earlier today we posted Nü Sensae's new tune "Throw" off their upcoming split 7-inch with the Coathangers, which Suicide Squeeze drops March 5.
