M.O.P. Announce Canadian tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 9, 2013

New York rap duo M.O.P. have been handling their business for over 20 years now, and the outfit will bring the beats and rhymes of their bountiful back catalogue up north later this month when they start up a Canadian tour.

Lil Fame and Billy Danze start their trip in Toronto on May 23, where they'll play the Virgin Mod Club. After heading out east to hit up Montreal, they slingshot back out west, capping the trip at Vancouver's Venue.

The Mash Out Posse will be joined on the trip by Bronze Nazareth, Canadian Beatbox Champion Scott Jackson and Philly Moves MC Tragic. The Vancouver show will also feature a set from Pharoahe Monch. You can see the Canadian show schedule down below.

UPDATE: Philly Moves will now be playing the tour, not just Tragic on his own.

M.O.P.'s last LP was 2011's Sparta, though the group are reportedly working on a new full-length set to be released sometime in 2013.
