Well, Modest Mouse fans' dreams are finally becoming reality, as the band have at long last announced their first new studio album since 2007's We Were Dead Before This Ship Even Sank. The record will be called Strangers to Ourselves and will arrive March 3.

Modest Mouse revealed the new album details by mailing out a test pressing of their recently teased new single "Lampshades on Fire," which is due out Tuesday (December 16). As you can see in the tweet below, pictures of the mailing have since emerged online, seemingly confirming that album title and release date. So far, there aren't many more concrete details about Strangers to Ourselves, but the band recently shared the following image on Instagram, leading many to think the art could be associated either with the upcoming album or "Lampshades on Fire" single.
