Last summer, Edmonton-based "indie-scene-rapping introvert" Mitchmatic (born Mitch Holtby) dropped his seven-track offering A Night Lost. Now, the hip-hopper has unveiled a new video for album cut "Better Alone," and Exclaim! has got your first look at it.
The video sees the Clearwater, BC-born Holtby returning to his roots in the great outdoors. While the footage was shot in Jasper, AB, the vibe of his natural surroundings definitely brought back childhood memories.
"I went with a couple pals (Ashleigh Brown and Mary Wood) and shot this around Jasper over a weekend," he said in a statement. "It was a blast. I grew up in small-town BC, so it feels fitting to be back in that type of element."
