Experimental UK pop unit Micachu & the Shapes announced their return last week, revealing plans for an upcoming album titled Good Sad Happy Bad and sharing "Oh Baby."
Now, the band have unveiled a new cut that takes its name from one of the album's titular adjectives and serves as the LP's opener. Clocking in at two minutes, "Sad" is a simplistic but quirky electro-tinged number that doesn't particularly match the sentiment expressed in the title.
Mica Levi chimes in towards the end with a reassuring refrain of "It's going to be okay." You can hear the oddly optimistic "Sad" in the player below.
Good Sad Happy Bad is out on September 11 via Rough Trade.
