Charitable shoe merchant/popster Mac DeMarco is set to take his sneakers around the world again, having announced another big batch of tour dates to support last year's Exclaim!-favourited Salad Days LP.
The Pepperoni Playboy is about to hit Asia and Australia, but he will be back in North America this spring to hit a number of clubs and festivals. As previously reported, he'll be making his way to Coachella and Bonnaroo, but it's now been revealed that his upcoming stretch of spring shows will include a headlining appearance in his former hometown of Vancouver on April 24 as well.
That Vancouver show, along with other West Coast club dates, will have DeMarco sharing the stage with Captured Tracks labelmates Dinner.
As previously reported, DeMarco recently hocked an old pair of Vans he'd worn on several global tour dates on eBay for charity. The winning bid in the online auction was an incredible $21,100 U.S., and all proceeds from the sale go to New York City's Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls program.
