This year, fans of UK pop singer Little Boots won't need to choose between business or pleasure. Rather, they can have it all thanks to the impending EP Business Pleasure. It will be out on December 1 via On Repeat.
The short collection consists of four songs, which were produced by Com Truise, Simian Mobile Disco's Jas Shaw and Grammy winner Chris Carmouche (Outkast, Janelle Monae). According to a press release, this EP finds Boots embracing late '90s Everything but the Girl and "early millennium R&B."
The tracklist is below. Scroll past that to hear "Taste It," which is a bubbly pop number with a punchy, minimal soundscape.
The EP is said to be "a visceral world of stories, hooks and beats, channelling the posturing and paranoia of inner-city tension in 2014 into a manifesto of perfect 'DIY pop' and 'narrative house.'" It acts as a preview for a new full-length in 2015.
Business Pleasure:
1. Taste It
2. Heroine
3. Business Pleasure
4. Pretty Tough
