Lana Del Rey Taps Mark Ronson for 'Honeymoon' Album

Earlier this year, brooding noir pop performer Lana Del Rey revealed that she was working hard on the follow-up to her Ultraviolence LP. Thought to be called Honeymoon, we've now learned it will feature production from Mark Ronson.

Speaking with Interview, Ronson opened up about the collaboration. "I'm going to do some recording with Lana Del Rey today and tomorrow," he said. "I found this cool old studio out here [in Los Angeles]."

Earlier this year, Rey revealed she was nine songs deep into the LP and was looking for a few more to tie it all together. "She has some songs and I said I had some demo ideas, and if they are any good, then maybe she'll like them and we'll go from there," Ronson said.

The two will likely make a worthy collaborative duo. Long before he was dominating airwaves with "Uptown Funk," Ronson helped bring out the best in pop vocalists like Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse.

Before the Honeymoon, however, Del Rey will first treat fans to her Endless Summer Tour, which features support from Courtney Love and Grimes. Dates for the trip are available here.
