After months of teasing, Black Mountain vocalist Amber Webber and Cave Singers' Derek Fudesco will finally deliver their debut LP as Kodiak Deathbeds in August. But before the LP officially eclipses the competition, the folk duo have unveiled a lunar-minded video for the set's "Against the Wind."
The cut-and-paste visuals were helmed by Fudesco's Murder City Devils bandmate Spencer Moody, who presents an assemblage of crescent-covered faces, as well as stop-motion moments involving a sky-bound bear, flowers and Rapunzel-esque whimsy.
These sights are all being manipulated by an ever-present hand-of-god type, whose actions are scored by the softened finger-picking of Fudesco's six-string and Webber's elemental whispers.
You can peep the video down below, while Kodiak Deathbeds deliver their 10-song self-titled debut August 18.
