Toronto indie rock crew July Talk are still making the most of their self-titled 2013 debut, having just released a video for album cut "Someone."
The clip arrives with news that the band have signed a deal with Island Records, who will release July Talk to American audiences on March 3. The album was previously reissued in Canada in 2014 as a deluxe edition with three bonus songs.
As for the video, it was shot on home turf and features the band rocking out in a dingy motel room, spliced with shots of a fully-dressed Leah Fay soaking in a bathtub. It was filmed on the outskirts of Toronto, in a Kingston Rd. motel that apparently "reeked of cigarettes, damp mould, and sadness."
