John Legend, Common, Jóhann Jóhannsson Win Golden Globe Awards

Last night (January 11), the 72nd Golden Globe Awards were handed out in Los Angeles. Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the show was packed with laughs and its share of awkward moments. It also featured a handful of musical moments.

In the Best Original Song (Motion Picture) category, John Legend and Common took home the award for their song "Glory," which was used in the Martin Luther King, Jr. film Selma. Watch their heartfelt acceptance speech below.

In addition, Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson beat out Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, along with Hans Zimmer, in the Best Original Score category for his work on The Theory of Everything. His speech can also be viewed below.
