John Dwyer Resurrects Damaged Bug for New LP

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 24, 2015

Easily one of the busiest dudes working in independent music, Thee Oh Sees' John Dwyer recently announced that his band will be putting out Mutilator Defeated at Last, their ninth studio album, this spring. For any other artist that'd be plenty to focus on, but Dwyer has also revealed that he's bringing back his solo project Damaged Bug for a new LP.

Following 2014's Hubba Bubba, Damaged Bug will return with a new album called Cold Hot Plumbs. The release features 13 new tracks from Dwyer's synth-heavy act.

Before the album arrives in full, you can stream "The Mirror" below. The song sounds sort of like Thee Oh Sees written on synths, pairing a mid-tempo beat with harmonized vocals.

The tracklisting for Cold Hot Plumbs is available below while its artwork is above. The album will arrive on June 1 via Castle Face Records.
