Janet Jackson has been teasing fans with the promise of new album recently, in addition to announcing plans for a massive world tour that kicks off later this summer. Now, the first taste of the new musical material has arrived in the form of a singled titled "No Sleeep."
The track is officially out as of midnight on June 23, but the iconic R&B star has shared an early stream of the song. It's a pretty smooth-sounding number, but the hard-hitting, bounce-along drum beat prevents it from going full-on slow jam.
Produced by Jackson's long-time collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the track is expected to be on the singer's forthcoming full-length, which is due out in the fall via Rhythm Nation/BMG. Give "No Sleeep" a listen in the player below.
