Hamilton Leithauser Lays Out North American Tour Plans, Unveils "5 AM" Video

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 28, 2014

Hamilton Leithauser stepped away from the on-hiatus Walkmen crew earlier this year to deliver his solo debut, Black Hours. Now, he's announced he'll be taking his newly burgeoning songbook out on the road early next year for a quick run of North American dates.

The crooner currently has a handful of UK shows coming up this November, but Leithauser won't be busting out his recent mix of heart-tugging torch songs and rock'n'rollers on this side of the pond until January. Though kicking off out in New York City, Leithauser, Walkmen guitarist Paul Maroon and the rest of his backup band will make it up into Canada for dates in Toronto and Montreal before bringing the show back down to the U.S.

You'll find the date and venue specifics for all of Leithauser's upcoming dates down below.

In addition to the new tour plans, the vocalist has also unveiled a new video for Black Hours opener "5 AM." If ever, to twist the solemn song's opening verse, you wondered why Leithauser sings these love songs, the Tristan Patterson-directed video may shed some light on this tuneful decision. Comprising shots of Ham singing his heart out onstage and extra shots of some backseat canoodling, the clip can be found below the tour info.
