We haven't even hit the one-year anniversary of HAIM's debut LP Days Are Gone, but the family band are saying the sophomore follow-up is coming "very soon."
Speaking with BBC6 [via DIY Mag], guitarist/keyboardist Alana Haim confirmed that the group have been in the process of writing songs for the as-yet-untitled second LP, and noted they'll be hitting the studio with some new tracks in July.
"This is the first time we've ever written on the road," she confided at the UK's Glastonbury festival, which the band performed at earlier today (June 27). "We're going home in a month to start recording. I promise record two won't come in six years — it'll come very soon."
Though there wasn't much in the way of specificity, it appears as if we won't have to wait for "Forever" to hear nee material from the sister trio. In the meantime, you can see their upcoming tour schedule behind Days Are Gone, including a stop at Montreal's Osheaga Festival on August 2, over here.
