Nguzunguzu members Daniel Pineda and Asma Maroof, along with Fatima Al Qadiri and J-Cush, recently announced that they'd joined forces under the banner Future Brown. Set to release Future Brown, their debut LP, via Warp Records early next year, they've given us another taste of the project with a new music video.
"Vernáculo" is a worldly dance pop jam with vocals from Maluca. For its video, the group drew influence from L'Oreal and Revlon commercials, creating a frightening and hyperreal beauty ad.
The video was commissioned by Pérez Art Museum Miami, and was first unveiled at Art Basel last week. Watch the video here.
Future Brown will arrive on February 24.
