Fucked Up's Pink Eyes Hospitalised After Sled Island Gig
Upon finishing the set, he was rushed to the hospital where he received stitches for his wound. Though this was the first of three scheduled performances at the Sled Island Festival, the band played as normal the next night. "I had to miss all of the bands I wanted to see, because I was sleeping in the hospital like a baby,” Damien told the beyond-capacity crowd at the Legion on Saturday night.
Hopefully he will heal to bleed again on the band’s upcoming European tour. The Chemistry of Common Life, the band’s Matador debut, will be out in the fall.
