Post-rocking Vancouver Island residents Freak Heat Waves just released their album Bonnie's State of Mind on Hockey Dad Records, and now they've scored a sweet opening slot: they will be touring with Viet Cong next month on a North American tour.
The outing begins with a few U.S. shows in the western part of the country. Later in the month, Freak Heat Waves will link back up with Viet Cong, playing Canadian gigs in Vancouver and Victoria. Fellow Victoria residents Fountain are also on board for the hometown show.
