While a proper album announcement has yet to be made, new info has leaked behind R&B golden boy Frank Ocean's next effort, informing us he'll be working with the likes of producers Hit-Boy (Jay Z, Kanye West) and Rodney Jerkins (Beyoncé, Lady Gaga).

Not too much has been revealed as to what Ocean has created in the studio with either producer, but the collaborations were confirmed through Billboard. It's also been revealed that Ocean's next, as-yet-untitled set for Def Jam will have him teaming up with previous collaborators Happy Perez, Charlie Gambetta and Kevin Ristro.

Back in April, the singer had suggested that he was nearly done recording the follow-up to his Grammy-winning major label debut, Channel Orange. At the time, he had been contemplating whether or not to skip out on playing the Coachella festival "to stay in the groove and finish this bitch," but he managed to still play the show.

In more recent news, Ocean's father Calvin Cooksey sued Def Jam founder Russell Simmons earlier this week in a defamation suit. Cooksey alleges that he was unfairly portrayed as a bad dad on Simmons' Global Grind website. He's asking for $142 million in damages.
