FIDLAR's 2012 demos EP Shit We Recorded in Our Bedroom featured a track called "West Coast," and a new version of that same tune appears on the forthcoming Too. Now, the Los Angeles garage-punk band have shared this cleaned-up version of the song.
Unsurprisingly, the new version significantly crisper than the prior demo, and the wordless hooks are spiked with soaring sweetness. That being said, it's still a scorching slacker anthem that's filled with hollered descriptions of a trip to some American cities along the Pacific coast.
"West Coast" premiered on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show. Hear it below along with an interview with FIDLAR.
Too will arrive on September 4 through Wichita/Mom + Pop/Dine Alone.
